So I know the best thing to do is to contact a bankruptcy Lawyer but I've been screwed so many times by car, mechanic, mortgage professionals that I figured I get public advice first. So here it goes...... I am 30 years old and I moved back to my parents house and had to short sale the house I lived in. I just started Real Estate 2 months ago so things are very slow but look promising 6-10 months from now. I don't know if I should not pay any of my payments for 10 months, ignore all the calls and once I have enough money then I could possibly create a payment plan or even settle most of my debt. Is that a smart thing to do to avoid BK or is it a better idea to file BK??? I have $80,000.00 in credit card debt.....(don't ask) ( I haven't made a payment in 4 months) I have a truck that I owe full value on which is $30,000.00....(I have not missed a payment on it at all) I have two rental properties that are both upside down. My question to you is that I know within the next year I will have at least $40k to settle some of this debt and dont mind all these calls but is it smart to do that???? Why or Why not??? Os is it smarter to file BK??? Why or Why not??? Other questions??? 1. What will happen with my car??? 2. What will happen to my investment properties??? 3. When will I be able to by a house if I am 30 years old now??? 4. Does BK haunt you for more than 3 or 5 or 7 years???

hi im a college student in NYC i am single and live alone in a studio apartment in Brooklyn NY i work in an armani exchange store and at the moment im also going for acting and have already nailed some gigs. My question is if anybody knows how i can get car insurance under $4000 (BTW i dont have any1 living in another state) i checked most companies and they offer 10-13k either a year or 6 months so please if any1 knows how i can get insurance help me out i am in dire need of a car.

How is that possible? I've applied for Progressive quotes before (and wasn't impressed at all), but how are they able to do that? Insurance companies all have complex formulas that are used to calculate rates using several factors, including driving history, location, credit, household drivers, vehicles, etc. Unless they have robots online that steal competitors' bandwidth and automatically fill out the forms, it doesn't seem possible. If that was the case, you would think other companies would block Progressive from abusing their servers. Any ideas?
